Exercise and Physical Therapy for MG
Presented by Meredith P. Drake, PT, DPT, NCS, The Johns Hopkins Hospital. The MDA Engage Virtual Myasthenia Gravis Symposium was held on Oct. 18 and 19, 2022. This two-day educational program is aimed at empowering individuals and families with knowledge and resources specific to myasthenia gravis (MG). Information was provided by experts in the field on topics including research, clinical trials, respiratory care, physical therapy and exercise, treatment considerations, and shared decision making. The chair of this year's symposium was Gil I. Wolfe, MD, FAAN, Professor and Chair of the Department of Neurology at University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, SUNY.
