►Mehr zu birdbrook music:   / birdbrookmusic     / birdbrook   This was a 19 Track Mix without pre-processing. My goal was to capture the Live Feeling, but still give it a modern sound. I wanted to make it very intimate, yet powerful. To achieve this I tried to capture the raw sound of the drums and bring up the room sound, that was recorded awesomely. Also I positioned the Vocals very close to the listener for the intimacy. I worked with subtle effects that I automated, supporting the powerful moments to have a bigger contrast to the smooth parts. Also I saturated and compressed the spoken words harder, since I felt like they have to be strong and powerful like she would shout them to a crowd with full determination. In the end I decided to loop the words "anger and fear" since I felt like they belong together and should not be separated. I also let them become more distorted while fading, to give a feeling of a fading but at the same time growing trouble. Like if the issue grows but people get more quiet about it.
