The Beatles on Compact Disc - 1987 News Reports (KTSP and WCCO)
Here are two news reports from Minneapolis-St. Paul news stations KSTP and WCCO regarding the releases of Beatles albums on CD, back in 1987. The first news report covers the initial four albums that were released in early 1987. The second news report covers the release of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, which was released in June 1987. Different times, indeed...but it is interesting that the price of CDs has remained essentially unchanged after nearly 30 years.
