Old Guy Paragliding--Review of the Advance Progress 3 Harness

I know I’m biased but the Progress 3 is another fine product from Advance. It now has a built in compressible back and seat protector (that you could remove) instead of having an air scoop arrangement. For packing, you just add some steady pressure to "compress" the protector and it automatically re-inflates (very quickly) when unpacked. It has maintained about the same weight but does seem more robust and is super comfortable. It is also very easy to sit in after launching and “sit out” for landings. I just wished it still had the bungee straps on the back of the rucksack...oh well. This will now be my go to harness as for very little extra weight I feel it offers more protection and makes the thermalling days more “mellow” while still maintaining good weight shift authority. I will continue to use the Advance Easiness 3 for pure hike & flies and for moderate days at Torrey (along with the Advance Pi2). Please let me know if you have any questions and thanks for watching!
