Welcome to one of Isaan's (North East Region of Thailand) ' Big Four ' - The expat haven of Udon Thani ' It was another glorious Friday morning in Udorn, just perfect for covering a few blocks of cardio for much needed exercise. Pointing out some local landmarks, in what I call the Phosri Rd / Hospital / Prison precinct zone, on the outskirts town / the inner city limits, while sharing some of my musings on the genesis story of Coffee Chill TV. As a heads-up. this a longer run, more chatty, than usual vlog, for yours truly and I do hope that you make it through to the end. By the conclusion, you have more of an insight into what was the impetus for my starting up on YouTube and, what continues to drives me to create social media content across a growing variety (see below) of platforms, still. Additionally, I also share some of the thinking behind my style and schtick, most notably what I try not be ... I also delve into issues of source credibility, dovetailing into the concept of travel blogging and vlogging as an authentic service, supporting small businesses, a means of positive escapism etc. vs malicious click baiting, cynical fakery and disingenuous grifting ... It is a bit more meaty, as well as a tad egocentric at times too, but I do hope you enjoy it.
