I Made a $800 Turbo Shield for $50 | DIY Stainless Steel Heat Shield + Color Change!
Here's my take on a diy dual layer / inconel heat shield for my turbine housing. I wanted the heat protection and look but didn't want to pay someone $800+ to do it, so I gave it a shot myself. First time ever doing a turbine housing. Not that difficult, but time consuming. I tried a few different types of ceramic wool and the one linked below is the best I've found.
