The Time Anakin Took Ahsoka To Her First Big Podrace - Star Wars

As the Clone Wars dragged on with seemingly no end in sight, the Jedi Council knew that they had to give their Generals some time to relax and reset after facing the endless onslaught of war. Anakin of course took full advantage of this, loved to catch his favorite sporting event every time he could. A pod race. This time however, he took Ahsoka and Obi-Wan along with him… So, lets find out how this day went horribly wrong… So the story begins on a leisure satellite, in orbit of Coruscant, which has its own sprawling cities and bustling streets. Many of the wealthiest citizens of Coruscant travel up to these leisure satellites to get some enjoyment out of their otherwise boring and repetitive lives. Not to mention, these people are living under constant fear that the separatists will soon strike at the heart of the Republic and attack Coruscant itself. On these satellites, the Coruscanti elite could participate in games of chance and gambling, cutting edge fashion displays, or even the thrill of high speed racing. I don’t have to tell you which one anakin chose when he was given the opportunity… Padme and Threpio are actually attending the fashion show, while Anakin, Ahsoka and Obi-Wan are rushing to catch the big podrace. Anakin is sprinting down the steps and waves over to Ahsoka to hurry up since the race is just about to begin. Ahsoka is frustrated and excited at the same time, wondering why her master is so obsessed with poraching. She doesn’t quite get the appeal. After hearing this, Obi-Wan chimes in and tells Ahsoka that her master has something of a history with these mechanical darth traps… The announcers then signal the beginning of the race, as all of the competitors zoom out from their starting positions. These racers are in the hunt to win the Spiral double cup.
