We use the default engine interface function Apply Damage, and Event on Any damage to handle damage to actors, including our character. Furthermore we take a look at how we handle death and remove the UI from the player. We also communicate the deaths to the Game State to keep track of the score of the match (How many survivors are left). We take a look at: Apply Damage Event On Any Damage Replicated Health Replicated Damage Killing the player, destroying the actor Communicating Score to the Game State (Survivors left) ✔️ What are we going to make in this series?: In short it will be PUBG but with Bean characters.
