First Fun Dive - PUERTO GALERA, PHILIPPINES

First dive after getting his Junior Open Water certification, and we got to just relax underwater and observe the marine life. Gray knows all the skills, so now it’s just a matter of water time to improve his buoyancy control and movement underwater. The quick wiggly finning is cute though. We had excellent visibility this entire dive trip. The waters here are generally a bit cooler until about May, so we needed 2 layers of wetsuits to stay warm. Even at shallower depths for junior Open Water, there is a lot of marine diversity. We stayed in a dive site with a lot of sandy areas still so Gray could work on his buoyancy without fear of accidentally hitting live coral. Insta360 x5
