After going out to the grocery stores over this past weekend I realized that the 2025 prices for most of the ingredients this video were pretty much the same or cheaper. For example, I was able to grab a nice size turkey for less than $6.00. So I was eager to re-upload this video to share with guys in hopes that it inspires you to still go out and scour your local grocer for budget friendly holiday food deals. Come along and cook with me right in time for Thanksgiving. I will be sharing a delicious Thanksgiving dinner recipes for my large family that includes the turkey, 5 side dishes, gravy and a dessert. This is to show you that it is possible to have an AMAZING Thanksgiving Dinner even on an extreme grocery budget. These budget meals are sure to please. I hope these meals will serve of as an inspiration for meals for a large family, small family or even an individual looking to stretch the possibilities of a limited or tight grocery budget. SHOPPING LIST 13.02 LB TURKEY $8.98 32 OZ RICE $1.00 8.5 OZ JIFFY MIX$0.47 14 OZ CRANBERRY SAUCE $1.27 27 OZ CANNED GREENS (OR ANY CAN VEGTABLE) $0.75 1 LB SWEET POTATOES $0.74 6 OZ STUFFING MIX $0.78 SEASONING (WHATEVER YOU HAVE ON HAND) $0.00 14 OZ FROZEN PEPPER MIX $1.00 8 OZ SHREDDED FIESTA CHEESE $2.20 16 COUNT AMERICAN CHEESE SLICES $1.29 15.3OZ MASHED POTATOES $1.66 1/2GAL MILK $1.58 4 COUNT BUTTER$0.78 6 EGGS $0.50 10.5 CREAM SOUP $0.50 SEASONING (FREE) DRESSING RECIPE:    • BUDGET HOLIDAY MEALS | EMERGENCY EXTREME G...   RICE STUFFING RECIPE:    • BUDGET HOLIDAY MEALS | EMERGENCY EXTREME G...   TURKEY BROTH RECIPE Bag of Giblets from Turkey/ Excess fat or skin from turkey / Turkey neck) 7-9 Quarts of Water 2-3 Tbsp of Salt Any Veggies on hand TURKEY RECIPE 13 LB Turkey Brine in refrigerator for 6-24 hours In Salt & Dry herbs of choice ½ - 1 Cup Veggies ½ Stick Butter 2 Tbs Black Pepper ½ Lemon (only if available) 1 Tbsp Cajun Seasoning 1Tbsp Complete Seasoning 2 Tbsp Soy Sauce 2Tbsp Garlic Powder 2 Tbs Onion Powder 2 Tbsp Poultry Seasoning 2-3 Tbsp Paprika 3 Tbsp Dry Herbs (Italian Seasoning is fine) MACARONI & CHEESE RECIPE 16 oz Macaroni (cooked per package instructions) 16 Slices of American Cheese 2 Eggs 8 oz Fiesta Blend Cheese 3-4 Cups of Milk (depending on how creamy you like your mac & cheese) 1 Stick Butter 1 Tsp Garlic Powder 1 Tsp Onion Powder ½ Tsp Chicken Bullion ½ Tsp Complete Seasoning (or bouillon cube) MASHED POTATOES Make according to the package instruction, but substitute ½ of the liquid of for turkey broth. Be sure to add salt & butter to taste. GRAVY RECIPE 3 Cups Turkey Pan Dripping 1 Tbsp Cornstarch 1Tbsp Cold Water OR 2 Tbsp Flour 1Tbsp Cold Water OR Mix in 3 Tbsp Instant Potato Mix (or more) for the desired consistency Let the drippings sit for about 20-20 minutes so the fat can rise to the top. Be sure to skim off the excess fat/oil before adding a thickener CANNED COLLARD GREEN 27 oz Can Seasoned Collard or Mixed Greens (drained ½ cup Turkey Broth 1tsp Chicken Boullion 1 Tsp Garlic Powder 1 Tsp Onion Powder 1 Tsp Complete Seasoning 1Tsp Apple Cider Vinegar (white vinegar is fine too) SWEET POTATO PIE FILLING RECIPE(No pie crust, make into a casserole) 1 lb.
