Opening Wall To Make A Breakfast Bar/Passthrough

I opened up a wall that separates my den from my kitchen and made a breakfast bar. There had been an old dated display case there. I suspect that maybe there was a window there long ago and that the den was an addition. In any event, there was a header above that display case so there was no need for me to build a support wall and install one. Building it was the easy part. The painting of the trim and walls, and staining of the top was the most time consuming.
