With the islands scattered across the vast ocean, Solomon Islands has two of nature’s demanding products, Copra and Cocoa. From generations these crops have sustained communities and connected the islands to the world. Copra and Cocoa plays a significant role in the Solomon Islands' economy and the development of rural communities. SIBC TV spoke to farmers involved in the Copra and Cocoa sectors who shared their experiences, and how the Solomon Islands Government is working to actively support farmers through its programs.
