Somers FD Working Structure Fire Response

Yorktown Heights Fire Department Car 2532, Westchester Emergency Medical Services 45-Medic-3, Croton Falls Fire Department Engine 148 and NEW Car 2072, Somers Fire Department Engine 181, Engine 188, Ambulance 80B2, Utility 244, and Ambulance 80B4, and Bedford Hills Fire Department Tower Ladder 57 responding to a working structure fire on the West Hill of Heritage Hills in Somers, New York. A complete rundown of the units that responded is listed below. Originally, the Somers Fire Department was dispatched for a reported structure fire. Car 2441 arrived on scene, reported smoke showing, and requested the 10-75 (working fire assignment), which brought in all of the mutual aid companies. The fire was quickly knocked down and was placed under control within approximately 30 minutes. Car 2072 was placed into service in early February, 2023.
