Cours de ukulélé - Apprendre les notes (1/65) Présentation
Hello, As a guitar teacher, I use a method adapted for ukulele players with my beginner students (those between seven and ten years old). You won't need to practice music theory (I mean: reading the treble clef) or decipher any tablature. I plan to teach you the notes on the fretboard gradually, in a way that I believe is progressive. ~ I show you where to play one note, then a second, then a third. We write them on a paper fretboard (which you can find here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/17Uj0.... With these three notes, I sing you a tune: "E D C, C D C D E...". I break it down into several phrases, and you repeat what you just heard on your instrument. ~ Then comes a fourth note. We decipher Three Kilometers on Foot... ~ Now for a fifth note. "Do mi fa sol," let's go for When the Saints, The Lion Sleeps Tonight, Good King Dagobert... ~ With the five notes mastered, we discover a sixth. We work on a few melodies to review all the known notes. ~ When we feel we've got it down, we move on to the next stage, and so on. At each stage, we add another piece of information that needs to be mastered. The melodies provided are there for you to practice and to help the knowledge sink into your memory. Practice makes perfect... oh dear. I hope you understand my approach. Seventeen levels in total. Up to the twelfth, it's quite serious, and certainly sufficient. You will then know the major scale C D E F G A B C, plus the following D, plus sharps and flats, plus the technique for guessing the name of a note regardless of the fret or string. From the thirteenth level onward, I should have added many more titles, since the further you progress, the more you need to review in order not to partially forget what you have learned. I've attached the printed course materials here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1KN8I... The video series on my YouTube channel starts here: #1) Introduction • Cours de ukulélé - Apprendre les notes (1/... And so on. There are 65 in total. I wish all those who embark on this adventure the very best of luck. This method has given me results with my students that I'm very happy with. I hope that, alone in front of your screen with your ukulele in hand, you too will succeed. With warmest regards.
