A beautiful 3 valleys tour from Rothenburg ob der Tauber, this time planned by André. Arrived by train we started in Rothenburg ob der Tauber. There it went a short piece through the beautiful Tauber Valley with beautiful views of Rothenburg in advance. The first steep ramp was not long in coming and we left the Tauber valley high to Seideneck. Over low-traffic roads across the plateau we reached the Schmerbach valley, which merged into the Herrgottsbach valley. We mistakenly thought it was the Ettetal, but this turned out to be wrong. The Münstersee there is a popular bathing lake, which also attracted André. Because at the same time he stood with both legs in it. Over another climb and plateaus we arrived in the Reutalbachtal, which we but only crossed and over more lonely roads finally arrived in Ettenhausen in the Ettetal. Not far from the Ette we were already at the Jagst. There we took a break in a rustic beer garden, where some chickens ran around fearlessly among the guests. We continued in the direction of Langenburg Castle. However, via a loop through Stachenhausen, before we came back into the Jagsttal. Langenburg is definitely worth a visit. Beautiful half-timbered houses, super view and a beautiful castle. After the descent, we are in Bächlingen still the beautiful rise up, but you could have left out and continue directly on the Jagst. Nevertheless, one has here again a beautiful view into the valley and on the castle on the opposite hill chain.
