(Centro de Investigaciones y Estudios Bíblicos), Ph.D. (St Anselm of Canterbury University & St Alcuin House), escritor e historiador español, y director editorial de CLIE; ha dedicado casi tres décadas a la enseñanza de la historia del cristianismo y a la historia de la filosofía, aparte de unos 20 años como pastor de la Iglesia Cristiana Evangélica de Tomelloso (Ciudad Real). Sus investigaciones se han plasmado en un buen número de libros, ensayos y conferencias. Ha editado las principales obras de los Padres de la Iglesia (Grandes Autores de la Fe, 13 vols.) y los comentarios y sermones de Lutero al Nuevo Testamento (Comentarios de Lutero, 8 vols.), Introducción a la Filosofía, Filosofía y Cristianismo, Historia de los Mártires, la edición del Gran Diccionario Enciclopédico de la Biblia, premiado como el mejor libro en español por SEPA el 2013, Homilética Bíblica, y en la actualidad está redactando la edición de la Biblia de Estudio Matthew Henry, con notas y comentarios de los grandes clásicos de la literatura evangélica. (Center for Research and Biblical Studies), Ph.D. (St. Anselm of Canterbury University & St. Alcuin House), Spanish author and historian, and Editorial Director of CLIE (Spanish publisher now under HarperCollins Christian Publishing), has devoted nearly three decades to the teaching of the history of Christianity and the history of philosophy, in addition to 20 years as pastor of the Christian Evangelical Church of Tomelloso (Ciudad Real). He is presently both Professor of History of Philosophy at the Center of Biblical Sciences of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain and Professor of Spiritual Theology at Christian Reformed Theological Faculty, Las Palmas, Spain. His research has been reflected in a good number of books, essays and lectures. He has edited the main works of the Fathers of the Church (Great Authors of the Faith), the Commentaries and Sermons of Luther on the New Testament (Comments of Luther, 8 vols.), Introduction to Philosophy, Philosophy and Christianity, History of the Martyrs, an edition of the Great Encyclopedic Dictionary of the Bible, awarded as the best book in Spanish by SEPA in 2013, Biblical Homiletics, and is currently writing an edition of the Matthew Henry Study Bible, with notes and comments of the great classics of evangelical literature.
