Calls for tenders for the installation of photovoltaic power plants - Webinar on 19.09.2025
Building on the success of the previous calls for tenders that took place in 2022, 2023 and 2024, the Ministry of the Economy is launching two new calls for tenders, tailored to the needs and expectations of companies, in order to encourage them to develop and operate large-scale photovoltaic power plants: An investment aid, with a total budget of EUR 17 million that will be available to support companies wishing to produce all or part of their own electricity. Deadline for submissions: 17 October 2025 ; An operating aid for a total capacity of 45 MW to be allocated, divided into four lots. This aid allows companies, in principle, to enter into a market premium contract over 15 years, during which they will be remunerated based on the electricity produced and fed into the grid. Deadline for submission: November 28, 2025. The aid will be awarded through a competitive tendering process. Compared to previous investment aid schemes, a key novelty is the introduction of sub-lots within each lot, specifically dedicated to photovoltaic installations with battery storage. These sub-lots aim to encourage companies to invest in batteries by offering higher subsidies that reflect the greater investment costs. To help companies understand the details and practical procedures of these tenders, these free informational webinars will focus on the updates and changes to the calls for tenders, and will provide an opportunity to address all questions regarding both types of aid.
