Czech has seven grammatical cases: nominative, genitive, dative, accusative, vocative, locative, and instrumental, or also, the Czech way: 1. pád (první pád), 2. pád (druhý pád), 3. pád (třetí pád) and so on. When you ask a Czech person about grammatical cases (pády), chances are they'll mention "case questions" (pádové otázky).
