The Internet pushed a lot of music video viewership online, which has allowed artists like PSY, Katy Perry, Dua Lipa, and Nicki Minaj to go viral. Music videos aren't just popular for pop artists, but have been a staple for rock, hip-hop, and R&B artists too. Artists like TLC, Aaliyah, Kanye West, Destiny's Child, and Mariah Carey regularly accompanied their songs with high budget videos.
