Then they become ill or unemployed and run into financial difficulties – they can no longer pay the rent on time. This is exactly what's happening to Dorina: a single mother, she's facing eviction after eleven years in her apartment. 2022 was a particularly tough year for her: after a shoulder injury, numerous surgeries, and several months of sick leave, she can no longer work as a geriatric nurse. Suddenly, she's dependent on payments from government agencies and health insurance companies. Reporter Malina accompanies Dorina in the days before, during, and after the eviction.
