Early Morning Ride on KTM 390 Adventure X | Hoskote Lake Flamingos | Major Accident Witnessed There's nothing better than starting the day before sunrise! 🌅 In this vlog, I set out on my KTM 390 Adventure X from Electronic City (Bengaluru) for an early morning ride to the beautiful Hoskote Lake, hoping to witness the rare migratory Greater Flamingos that have become an exciting attraction for bird lovers. 🛣️ Route Taken: 📍 Electronic City → Silk Board → Outer Ring Road → KR Puram → Old Madras Road (NH-75) → Hoskote → Hoskote Lake 📏 Distance: ~55 km (one way) ⏱️ Ride Time: Approximately 1.5 hours (early morning with minimal traffic) Along the way, I also witnessed a major road accident, reminding us how important it is to ride safely and stay alert on highways. 🦩 About Hoskote Lake Hoskote Lake is one of the best birdwatching destinations near Bengaluru, located around 30 km east of the city. During the migratory season (generally October to February), the lake attracts hundreds of resident and migratory birds including pelicans, painted storks, herons, egrets, ducks, and on rare occasions, Greater Flamingos. The best time to visit is between 6:00 AM and 9:00 AM, when bird activity is at its peak and the morning light is perfect for photography. The recent sighting of Greater Flamingos has created excitement among bird photographers because these elegant birds are only occasional visitors to Hoskote Lake. Earlier documented sightings were rare, making every visit special for wildlife enthusiasts.
