I thought I'd seen the worst... but after cutting out the rust, it got really bad 😳 One decision, and this bus might never be back on the road again... In today's episode, I'm preparing the repair parts and welding the right side member of the bus 🔥 After disassembling everything, it turned out that the rust had left huge holes, and it was much more work than I expected. I cut out the rotted sections, made some sheet metal, and spent several hours welding the entire structure to save the side member. In total, I spent over 6 hours welding 😅 After finishing the work, I thoroughly protect everything—first with Cekor R paint, applied in layers every 24 hours, and then I painted the whole thing with RD-Elastometal. Finally, the chassis is practically ready for final maintenance and a paint job.
