We departed from Waterfront Southwest using the Washington DC metro and spent the day exploring the streets, culture, and cuisine of this well-known area among tourists and locals alike. We also had lunch at the traditional Chinatown Express, a very popular restaurant in the area. The food was delicious, and one of the dishes immediately reminded us of scenes from the movie Kung Fu Panda! 🐼🍜 At the end, we even opened the famous fortune cookies and discovered our lucky messages.
