1986 McCoy Race at the Ranch Pit Shop

Switching to the other side of the ocean, from Europe to the US, Pomona California, the 1986 McCoy Race at the legendary Ranch Pit Shop. Another video that I didn't see before or at least can't remember having seen it before. And much to my surprise I saw myself racing there although I was pretty sure that the Tokyo Worlds was my last major event, apparently not. Probably thought I might as well race myself while I'm there with the Serpent Team. This McCoy race saw all the top US racers making the Main Final, I think Rody was the only European racer represented in the final, but there were only a few anyway probably. Team Associated with their RC500 blew the competition away at this McCoy! Winner a very young Gil Losi Jr. All the usual suspects, Ralph Burch, Gil Losi Jr., Gary Keyes, Dana Schmeltzer, Art Carbonell and many more in this video. The founder of this race and legend, Dick McCoy, Gene Husting, Gil 'Paps' Losi Sr. Not sure if the Ranch was already Losi's in 1986.
