Growing Black Currant and White Curant Bushes In Your Garden
I highly recommend considering the addition of Black or White currants to your garden. These plants have great greenery and provide loads of berries every year. The taste is quite intense and adds a punch to any dish you add them into. I really enjoy eating them right off the bushes. They are very easy to grow and will tolerate less than ideal conditions. Including wet soil and shade. While giving them a place with good drainage and sunshine is always beneficial these plants will grow just fine in partial shade. So if you have an empty spot just waiting for a plant you may just want to try one of these great additions to your open space. In this small section I have several berries including two black currants, a white current, a gooseberry, a Josta Berry and a Fig Tree. They all seem to be doing well so far.
