CRAPPIE ON REDWORMS??? | MULTI-SPECIES DAY ON LAKE CONROE | Kayak Fishing Turbid Waters

Welcome to the channel Fishing by the Numbers! Lake Conroe!!! One of the most dangerous lakes in the state of Texas, home to various boating incidents, but also home to great fishing! On this trip, set out to catch multiple species, and had a very successful day! I caught my PB catfish, several crappie, and Goliath blue gill! It was a day for the books! I started off chasing bluegill using red worms, and to my surprise, I even caught a few crappie on the red worms. I've seen it done, but never did it myself! And then I followed that up with the biggest flathead catfish of my life, also on the red worm. I was fishing bluegill beds and structure for most of the day. At times, the crappie had lock jaw, but I was able to get a few to open up and feed! It was an eventful day, and unfortunately, my GoPro kept overheating so I wasn't able to get the entire day on film. Nonetheless, the footage that I did get was still action packed.
