Interview Date: 04/11/2012 Interviewer: Myers, Joe Interview Location: Broken Arrow, Oklahoma Richard Sharp grew up in Whiting, Indiana where he graduated from high school in 1947. In February 1948, he joined the Marine Corps. Two years later, Sharp was deployed to Korea where he took part in the Battle of the Chosin Reservoir. In this oral history interview, Sharp looks back on his military service during those years. This interview was conducted as part of the Korean War Interview Series at the OSU Library.
