Alzheimer's disease – which erases memories, stories, and identities – affects more than just the patient. Family and caregivers, whether working in homes or nursing homes, experience the gradual loss of the person, day after day. "Intertwined" is about the daily lives of these caregivers. These female caregivers, actually. It shows that caregiving, despite the love and dedication, is also difficult, exhausting, and distressing… but it also has its joyful moments.
