2025July14 201003 Meeting summary
Meeting of Stanmore Gravel Project following site visit a few days earlier attended by members of Reading Geological Society, including Prof Peter Worsley. The exposure had been interfered with, some digging top right and also across Bed E has resulted in a new width of nearly 2m. Bedding features can be seen in Bed F. The next step will be to reopen the hole to the right and go down further beneath the mottled clay.
