Donizetti: La Fille du Régiment New Orleans 1972 Sutherland Pavarotti Bonynge BETTER SOUND

*Thank you to Martin for helping me aquire this performance!!!* This performance was part of the Metropolitan Opera's tour of La Fille Du Régiment. First came 12 performances at the Metropolitan Opera house with various substitutions of singers. After that, the tour went as such; Boston Massachusetts, Cleveland Ohio, Atlanta Georgia, New Orleans Louisiana, Minneapolis Minnesota, Detroit Michigan. This here is the New Orleans performance. Date is May 20th, 1972. The cast is in wonderful voice here. Joan sounds in superb voice as does Pavarotti. Slight spoiler: Pavarotti, in this performance, does what I think to be his best Ah Mes Amis hes ever done! This will be debated in the future when more recordings pop up. I've done some pitch corrections and some sound quality improvements. Enjoy!
