However, they discover that the reef is sick and many of the corals have already died. The Octonauts immediately try to find out what is causing the coral reef's illness. During their investigation, they encounter a school of damselfish growing seaweed on the other side of the reef. The Octonauts set out to rescue all the marine life from a dangerous current. On their journey, they come across a male jawfish. Jawfish are mouthbrooders, and this male is carrying 10 eggs in his mouth, which need to be incubated. Because the jawfish is constantly chattering, he loses the eggs. Captain Barnacles, Kwasi, and Peso immediately set off to rescue the lost eggs from the current.
