Heavy rains on Wednesday caused severe damage in various parts of Mexico City, resulting in flooding, waterlogging, and complications for thousands of drivers and pedestrians. One of the hardest-hit areas was Paseo de la Reforma, where the water level hampered both vehicular and pedestrian traffic. In response to the torrential downpours, the Secretariat of Comprehensive Risk Management and Civil Protection activated alerts in several boroughs, while emergency teams worked to address the damage.
