Juneau, Alaska: The Weird & the Wonderful! (Exploring the most bizarre sights in Alaska's capital)

Juneau, Alaska is a WEIRD city...but it's also pretty wonderful! In this video, I explore the most bizarre and unexpected attractions in Alaska's capital city, from the World's Smallest Costco to a garden full of overturned tree trunks, to the city's unique 40-mile road to nowhere! Get ready for some of the most surprising sights in Alaska, as we uncover some of the strangest and most unique attractions in Alaska's capital. I begin with a food tour to sample some of Juneau's most interesting local foods. From there, I walk the stunning Totem Trail (lined both with totems and unique whale tail statues called Aquileans), eventually calling at the world's smallest Costco! After, I tour the ruins of the 19th century Treadwell Mine, and explore the upside-down hanging gardens at Glacier Gardens. I end my discovery of Juneau's weird & wonderful spots with a visit to the salmon-filled Sheep Creek (a natural salmon run), and the 40 mile drive up "The Road" (Alaska Highway 7), where I discover a remote Catholic retreat and labyrinth, plenty of secluded coves and scenic spots, and of course the famous 'End of the Road' near Berners Bay.
