If you keep in mind the key points to prevent it from becoming dry, you can easily make this popular classic side dish. Ajinomoto Co., Inc.'s "Pure Select®️ Mayonnaise," which we used in the preparation and tartar sauce, has a rich yet light flavor that brings out the flavor of other ingredients while adding just the right amount of richness, making it easy to use in a variety of dishes! Please give it a try using "Pure Select®️ Mayonnaise" and delicious ingredients from Tohoku. ■Ingredients (serves 2) Chicken 2 chicken breasts (300g) 1 tablespoon Pure Select mayonnaise 1 egg Flour (as needed) Salt and pepper (as needed) Oil (as needed) Sweet and sour sauce 1 tablespoon soy sauce 1 tablespoon mirin 1 tablespoon vinegar 1/2 tablespoon sugar Tartar sauce 4 tablespoons Pure Select mayonnaise 1/8 onion 1/8 apple 1 egg 1 teaspoon vinegar Salt and pepper (as needed) Toppings Cabbage (as needed) Tomato (as needed) Lemon (as needed) Cucumber (as needed) How to make 1. Prepare the chicken. Poke holes all over the chicken breast with a fork and cut it into bite-sized pieces. 2. Sprinkle with mayonnaise and salt and pepper, rub in, and leave in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. 3. Make the sweet and sour sauce. Put the mirin into a heat-resistant bowl and microwave at 600W for 30 seconds, then add the sugar, vinegar, and soy sauce and mix well. 4. Make the tartar sauce. Crack the eggs into a heat-resistant bowl, poke several holes in the yolk with a toothpick, loosen the white slightly, cover with plastic wrap and microwave at 600W for 40 seconds. 5. Lightly loosen with a fork, microwave at 600W for 20 seconds, mix well, remove from heat and allow to cool. 6. Finely chop the onion and mix with the vinegar, add grated apple and mix well. 7. Add ⑥ to ⑤, add mayonnaise, salt and pepper and mix well. 8. Make the batter. Beat the eggs and coat the chicken breasts in plain flour. 9. Heat oil to about 160-170 degrees, dip chicken breast in egg and drain until cooked through. 10. Mix ⑨ with sweet vinegar, arrange on a plate with toppings, and finish by pouring tartar sauce over it. #chickennanban #chickenrecipes #recipe
