Te Au Moana Luau - Wailea Beach Resort | Maui, Hawaii | 2021

Te Au Moana is a luau that takes place at the Wailea Beach Resort on Maui, Hawaii. This was our first ever luau and we had a great time! There was SO much food! We had the chance to try a number of different dishes like huli huli chicken, teriyaki steak and of course, kahlua pork. This luau now serves their food family style as opposed to the traditional buffet that they previously offered (due to health and safety measures in place), but we actually preferred this, as it kept you in your seat the entire time without missing a beat of the show. If you wanted more of anything, all you had to do was ask your server and they brought it over almost immediately! The food wasn't the world's greatest food, but it was still quite tasty and the abundance of dishes gave you the chance to try many different things. The show itself was AMAZING! We truly enjoyed every single minute and would highly recommend this luau for any and all ages. There was some very educational aspects of the show early on, such as learning how they use all parts of the coconut for various things, how they traditionally fish and so much more. Every single performer brought great energy and we've been talking about this luau every day since we went! Definitely a great option for those looking for Maui luaus!
