The "BEST" way to Learn Japanese, “Fast Fluency”, My Early Mistakes + More, Unfiltered Ep. 2
Overview of how I approach learning Japanese and Language learning as a whole. Do not get caught up in trying to make the perfect routine to learn, otherwise you will not make progress. Just practice a lot, make sure you are engaged with what you are doing most of the time, and stay consistent. The results will naturally come after that. This channel focuses on productivity, structured learning, and building real skill without burnout or 'self-improvement' nonsense. My goal with the channel is to help you have a healthy relationship with the things you do so you can get max results and enjoy the hard work require for them. Topics: multiple interests, hobbies, learning, productivity, language learning, piano, guitar, discipline, time management, consistency, enjoying the process. ((( for the visually impaired, the intro is as follows roughly, "it’s become a bit of a habit of mine—even with videos that are primarily about Japanese, I just don't feel quite right unless I start off speaking in Japanese. And that’s the case with this video, too... I mean, it is technically a discussion involving Japanese, but it’s really more about language learning in general—or rather, it’s about the mindset and approach I take toward it. It might run a little long, but for the most part, I’ll be speaking in English. As for this initial Japanese segment—well, partly it serves as practice. Actually, I’ve found that recording myself while speaking has been the single most effective way for me to improve my Japanese skills. To reiterate: this video isn't really a hardcore "study Japanese" tutorial; instead, I’m just chatting casually about how I personally think about language learning and the process of improvement. I’ll include some timestamps, so feel free to skip ahead to any specific topics that interest you. Also, people occasionally ask me, "Is this channel a Japanese-language channel?" Well, not exactly. I do cover Japanese, but it’s just one part of what I do here. That said, if you’re currently studying a language yourself, I think you’ll find my other videos useful as well. After all, topics like habit-building and effective memorization techniques apply directly to language learning. I imagine most of you watching right now probably found your way here through my language-related content, but if you have a moment, I’d love for you to check out some of my other videos, too. Oh, and I do plan to release videos in the future covering things like listening comprehension at native speeds, or how I managed to build a vocabulary of 10,000 words. The only problem is, I have so many ideas right now that I’m honestly having trouble keeping up with them all! But anyway, those topics will likely be the focus of my next language-related videos. Alright—let’s dive into the comments and questions!" )))) long ahh description box lol
