Lecture Topic for March 13: "The Completion of Alexander the Great's Campaigns." In this lecture, we'll see how Alexander, having gained control of Central Asia with some difficulty (and married there for the first time in his life), then marched on India, intending to reach the "end of the earth." There, too, he achieved victories, but was ultimately stopped by nature itself and turned back, never having suffered a single defeat. Course Curator: Dmitry Pozharsky University.
