La storia della colonia di Busana raccontata da Giacomo Notari

With Giacomo Notari, the partisan "Willi" and former president of the ANPI (National Association of Italian Partisans), we recall the history of the Busana colony, now home to the Il Castagno hotel and restaurant. Giacomo, originally from Marmoreto di Busana, experienced every stage of the children's facility in the heart of the Apennines. Established by fascism, it became a colony for the Municipality of Reggio Emilia shortly after the war, at the behest of the city's first mayor, Cesare Campioli, who envisioned a place to send the many children who had suffered from the conflict. These were years when there was a strong focus on rebuilding the collective well-being. It is now one of the main bases of the Istoreco Partisan Trails. Thank you, Giacomo!
