Welcome to Episode 15 of Scrabble History, a series where I break down some of the most incredible plays, epic rivalries, and amazing moments in Scrabble's rich competitive history. Dave Wiegand and Alec Sjoholm are two of North America's finest players. You'd expect to see fireworks when the two of them sit down to play. But in a game between the two of them from May 2023, both players scored over 590 points in a game, with the loser setting a record for highest losing game score.
