Vanja Radic Coaching - International Work With Goalkeepers

Vanja Radic Coaching is the name of my coaching company which I have started in 2012 in Finland. Since 2012 until now (2024), I had a very exciting and amazing coaching adventure, coaching goalkeepers in different teams, camps, and national teams across 3 continents and in over 25 countries so far. Some of The Big Steps in My Goalkeeper Coaching Path: I started my goalkeeper coaching path in 2010 (while still playing actively in RK Lokomotiva Zagreb) by coaching goalkeepers in the female junior national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina. From 2012 - 2014 I have organized several goalkeeper camps in Finland. In 2014, I accepted an invitation to join coaching staff at the International Handball Camp in Omis, Croatia. That was the first international coaching project that I was part of. I have spent 6 years being part of coaching staff at that camp, having a role of a head coach and co-organizer for the last 4 years of my presence in the camp. Since 2013, I started coaching in youth and junior male and female national teams of Finland. In 2016, I started coaching goalkeepers in the women's national team of Finland, and in 2018 I was invited to coach goalkeepers in the men's national team of Finland. Since 2014 - 2020 I had countless goalkeeper camps and educations for coaches in over 25 countries. In April 2022, I was invited to coach goalkeepers in junior female national team of USA. With the USA junior female national team, we won silver medals at the 2022 North America and Caribbean Women's Junior Handball Championship, with which we qualified for the junior World Championship 2022. In June 2022, I became an EHF Expert, and I had my first lecture for EHF Master Coaches, module 2, in Porto, Portugal. In July 2022, I signed a goalkeeper coaching contract with the men's national team of South Korea. In January 2023, I was coaching goalkeepers of the men's national team of South Korea at the 28th IHF World Championship in Poland and Sweden. In September 2023, I was coaching goalkeepers of the men's national team of South Korea at the 16th Asian Games, in Hangzou, China. In October 2023, I was coaching goalkeepers of the men's national team of South Korea at the Olympic Qualification Tournament in Doha, Qatar. In January 2024, I was coaching goalkeepers of the men's national team of South Korea at the Asian Championship in Bahrain, where we won bronze medals. In March 2024, I am sitting in my home office in Canada, I am enjoying a beautiful snowy view through the window, I am updating this (and many other articles) on my website. I am inspired with everything that I have accomplished so far, and I am excited and eager to Feel what is the next big step in my coaching career.   :) . .
