Restoring a 100+ Year Old Hit Miss Engine. Part 1
Well folks i finally started the restoration of this 1.5 hp Root and Vandervort hit and miss engine. At some point someone started the restoration and the engine had welded flywheels. So i also have a parts engine we will take the crank and flywheels from. We will pull the fly wheels and clean the crank. Also in this video we machine some bushings and pins on the old south bend 9inch lathe. This will most likley be a 2 part video. we will have the engine about 60 percent of the way done before waiting for some parts.
