Visit to the Waorani Community of Bameno, in the Ecuadorian Amazon rainforest, in October 2019 The video follows Mauricio Baihua, a 25-year-old, who shares the traditional life of his indigenous community in the Amazon. They live off natural resources such as yucca, plantains, and hunting, while fighting to preserve their territory against oil companies that threaten their environment and culture. Despite their ancestral way of life, they adopt certain technologies like the internet to connect with the outside world and defend their rights. The children receive a bilingual education, combining traditional knowledge with modern teaching, in the hope of protecting their future.
