Bocuse d'Or Weekly News #26 Sri Lanka: a newcomer in the competition - This is the first time Sri Lanka takes part in the Bocuse d'Or. A newcomer in the competition who intends to jump at the opportunity! Chef Buddhika was chosen out of 11 contestants on the first national selection. We follow him amongst the 10 competing countries at the Bocuse d'Or Asia selection. A decisive new step, as only 4 teams will be qualified for the international final. To make a difference, the chef is determined to use typical products of Sri Lanka. He wants to show "Sri Lankan cuisine isn't just about curry and rice!".
