Real-Time Parallax Effect in Blender

In this video I demonstrate a real-time parallax camera effect in Blender using MediaPipe 2 Blender (MP2B) and GN Escape. What you see happens live, directly driven by face tracking: the 3D camera reacts to head movement, creating a convincing and interactive parallax effect inside the viewport. We’ll cover: Real-time FaceMesh tracking in Blender with MediaPipe Sampling a specific FaceMesh vertex (between the eyes) Driving camera motion using Geometry Nodes Estimating depth movement and remapping values Connecting Geometry Nodes to camera parameters with GN Escape Compensating camera movement using Camera Shift for a stable parallax effect This workflow is designed for real-time visuals, interaction, and experimentation, not offline motion capture. ⚠️ Disclaimer This video is not sponsored by, endorsed by, or affiliated with HOKA.
