The overland journey from Ruteng, Manggarai Regency, to Larantuka, East Flores Regency, is a road that runs along the entire island of Flores. This road, called the Trans-Flores Highway, connects Labuan Bajo, West Manggarai Regency (the western tip of Flores) to Larantuka, East Flores Regency, the eastern tip of Flores. Flores Island has eight regencies: West Manggarai Regency, Manggarai Regency, East Manggarai Regency, Ngada Regency, Nagekeo Regency, Ende Regency, Sika Regency, and East Flores Regency. The Trans-Flores route is known for its winding terrain, numerous sharp turns, climbs, and steep ravines along the entire length of the Trans-Flores road. Traveling from Labuan Bajo to Larantuka requires considerable courage. The total distance of the Trans-Flores Highway is approximately 734 km. Those of you who want to tour around Flores are guaranteed a truly enjoyable trip. Besides testing your courage, there are also many easily accessible tourist spots to visit. This time, I rode an N Max motorcycle, covering 516.3 km. The trip from Ruteng to Larantuka took approximately 13 hours without rest. However, because we had plans to visit tourist attractions along the way, we decided to spend the night in Ende City and continue our journey to Larantuka the next day.
