I research and write all of my scripts myself, focusing on cases that catch my interest and sometimes stay in my mind long after I’ve finished researching them. Some stories are harder to work on than others. The story of The Boy in the Box was especially difficult for me to make. Learning about what happened to that poor child and seeing the details of the case was deeply unsettling. Although I use an AI voice-over for the narration, everything else in these videos is done by me. I research the cases, write the scripts, edit the videos, do the color correction, and create the animations myself. Footage and images used in my videos come from Pixabay, Pexels, and my own personal collection of stock footage and images. In February 2015, Daylenn set out to explore the famous but restricted trail and was last seen in photos posted to social media during the hike. When he never returned, a massive search began across the steep ridges and dense valleys of the Koʻolau Mountains. Despite extensive search efforts, Daylenn Pua has never been found, leaving behind one of Hawaii’s most haunting modern missing person cases.
