WNBC 66 New York - Don Imus / Ray D'Ariano - February 28 1988 - Radio Aircheck It’s legendary morning radio guy, Don Imus, on 66 WNBC! It’s 1988, and it's the final months of WNBC, before the station is sold to Emmis, and the station gives way to WFAN. From 1977 to 1979, Imus was in Cleveland, but in 1979, WNBC would recall back to New York. In this aircheck, you’ll hear Imus along with a few breaks from Ray D'Ariano,, who held down the midday show at the time.
