Here we are! At Tawlet restaurant in Beirut where I’m meeting Kamal Mouzawak. Having explored early on Lebanon’s rural areas and discovered the crop that farmers’ harvest, Mouzawak felt a desire to bring people what he felt they were lacking: farm fresh organic produce from all over the country! So it was only natural that we met him in what may be considered his second home, surrounded by hungry and happy foreigners and city dwellers – to speak about his food activism.
