Walking along the breakwater, we heard something strange — a low, haunting hum rising from the tetrapods. It's called an Aeolian tone: the sound wind makes as it passes through solid objects. Fish drying in the breeze. Nets laid out in the sun. And sunlight scattering off the water onto the hulls of boats. — Ayajin We arrived as the sun was going down. A small pavilion at the inner harbor. Still water. Fishing boats turning gold. A quiet harbor doing what quiet harbors do. — Sodol There's a rock here called Adeul Bawi — the Son Rock. Legend says if you pray before it, you'll be blessed with a son. Fishermen untangled nets. A grandmother ran her stall. Her dog sat beside her. This is the kind of place you come to drink soju by the sea and stay longer than you planned.
