Sonic The Hedgehog 2 Sega Master System / Game Gear Review [ S1 Ep.9 ] In this in-depth review of Sonic the Hedgehog 2, I revisit a game that I have fond memories of and see how well it still holds up today. But this time there's a big difference depending on which version you play. While the Master System version turns out to be a really solid and enjoyable 8-bit platformer, the Game Gear version is a much rougher experience and far less fun to come back to. In the video, I take a closer look at both versions of Sonic 2 and talk about what works, what doesn't, and why the gap between them is so noticeable. It's a good example of how the same game can leave very different impressions depending on the hardware.
